Jules Bistro

"On The Path" has some new faces! This second season will be featuring many different members of our vibrant communities. Creativity and passion exists across all disciplines and I thought it was time to showcase those who are putting in the work.

In episode 1 of this season, we explore the origins and journey of Romain, head of Jules Bistro @julesbistro1290 in Toronto's east-end. He details his discovery for the love of the restaurant business after an accident early in his life. When he was 21, he took a risk and move 100 KM away to a city in the French mountains. That would be his inciting incident. From there he would travel the world, and work at various different bars and restaurants, learning new things and meeting new people along the way. He would eventually make his way to Toronto and become the owner and operator of Jules Bistro’s Leslieville location.
